Consequences of Skyfashion discontinuation.

I only recently bought the template and have still to launch my site when I find it is now discontinued.

Could you please tell me what the consequences of sticking with your theme would be, now that it will no longer be updates (whilst Wordpress itself and all of the used plugins will, obviously)?
